Watercolor
One of my favorite paintings is “The Icebergs” by Frederic Edwin Church that I have visited more than once in the Dallas Museum of Art. No photo or copy does it justice. I have not seen it since it was vandalized and repaired, but I hope it is still as amazing a work as my dim memory recalls.
My painting is no substitute for the original. It is just an homage to the ephemeral great shoulders we stand on and trample.
